EMILIANO MAMMUCARI

ARTIST'S BIO

foto_bio_EMammucari_72Emiliano Mammucari was born in Velletri (a town close to Rome) on April 15th, 1975; he started creating comics in 1998, debuting with a graphic novel entitled "Poor Pinocchio," published by Montego.

Later on, among other things, he drew the first issue of John Doe (Eura Editore), then he moved on to the Napoleone artist team and, later, to the one of Jan Dix.

He drew all the covers of the mini-series Caravan (2009), for which he also drew an entire issue, published in 2010. In October of 2013, he carries on newsstands the first Sergio Bonelli Editore monthly color series, Orphans (created with the writer Roberto Recchioni), for which he drew the issues #1 and #12.

He continues with the second season of Orphans: Ringo, illustrating all the 12 issue covers and drawing the #1. For the third season, Orphans: New World, he remains on the creative team and draw the frontispiece. In 2017, for the 3 issues of Orphans 5th season, Orphans: Terra, he has taken care - for the first time - of writing the story.
