Stefano Turconi, (1974) after the art school he attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and the comic courses at the School of Applied Arts of Castello Sforzesco and the Disney Academy. From 1997 he worked as a freelance cartoonist with Walt Disney Italy-Panini Comics, producing stories for Mickey, Minnie Magazine, PK, W.I.T.C.H., MM, X-Mickey and various other magazines.
In the beginning of 2000 he publihed, written by Giovanni Gualdoni, the Fantaghenna series (ed. Paquet) Akameshi and Wondercity (ed. Soleil). From 2005 he produced books for several publishing houses including Piemme, DeAgostini, EL and Teredimezzo. He then publishes the series Camomille et les Chevaux (ed. Hugo & Cie) and Léonid (ed. Soleil, Star Comics in the Italian edition), written by Frédéric Bremaud . Together with the writer (and wife) Teresa Radice he made the graphic novel Viola Giramondo (ed. Tunué, Dargaud in France, Boscarato Award 2014 and nominated for the Fauve Jeunesse at Angouleme 2016) and Il Porto Proibito, publihsed in Italy by Bao Publishing, Dibbuks in Spain, Glénat in France; Grand Guinigi Prize best graphic novel in Lucca Comics and Games 2015 and Micheluzzi Award 2016 as best comic book.
In March 2017 BAO Publishing release Orlando Curioso e il segreto di Monte Sbuffone.
